My 2 year A-D licks all the time! Especially our other 10 month old pup. He is very responsive when we tell him not to lick.

Our 2 year old A-D used to lick a lot but he was very responsive to being told "no lick". He is extremely affectionate and would love to lick but since I have seen some of the other things he puts in his mouth we discourage it. He is extremely easy to train.

Mine does not lick much at all. The only people he tends to lick are men. I think it's a dominance thing. He is very trainable with consistency and if all else fails we use a can of air called pet corrector and one or two shots is all it take to correct a problem.
