How can I get my english setter to stop pulling on the leash?
I have leared that If you buy a halter coller you dog does not pull as much, But your dog probley will try to rub his face on you.
try to do some heel training to make the dog walk next to you hold a treat in your hand then walk he will watch your hand and walk with you this doesn't always work. make sure it's in the hand on the other side of your dog and hold it close to your stomach area.
Do this.Always walk in front of your dog. When he pulls just stop and say no in a firm voice. Eventully he'll get tired and stop. Soon he'll learn that when you say no he has to keep still.
