General Description
(Klee Kai, AKK, Mini Husky, Mini Alaskan Husky) The Alaskan Klee Kai was bred with the intention of creating a companion-sized version of the Alaskan Husky. They are technically considered to be a small Alaskan Husky, though they physically resemble the Siberian Husky. They come in three different sizes- standard, miniature, and toy. Most Alaskan Klee Kais have a gray and white coat, but they are also offered in red and white. Solid white coats are also available, but they cannot be registered.Character
Alaskan Klee Kais make good companions, but they are a comparatively high-maintenance breed. They bark a lot, shed, and are hyper. If trained appropriately and sufficiently exercised, the breed will settle down and become a wonderful family pet. They are docile, extremely loving, and have a cheerful disposition. Alaskan Klee Kais are a very high energy breed and will not be for everyone. You will have to put in an extreme amount of time and energy into this breed. Not recommended for first-time dog owners.Due to their natural reserved/catious behavior around strangers, Alaskan Klee Kais will make good watch dogs. Because of there skittish personally, early on constant socialization is highly recommended.
