About the Boweimar
The Boweimar is a hybrid dog that is made up of a combination of two different purebreeds. It's a cross between the Boxer and the Weimaraner. We've found the best method for understanding the characteristics of the Boweimar is to read both of its ancestors descriptions taking note of their temperaments, size and general look.
*All hybrid content is user generated and edited by our staff. If you know a lot about the Boweimar breed, please feel free to share what you know with our users. Please try to be as factual and well written as possible. Quality information will promote the growth of the breed.

Maintenance
This breed is a light shedder and is easy to groom.
Ideal Environment
Both breeds are very hyper and full of energy and eager to please. Plenty of walks would be ideal and a fenced in back yard should be a requirement. Because of their high energy, it is recommended to train them to do agility courses, frisbee or any other activity that requires large amounts of running.
Dog Training! If you're having problems training your dog or getting control, you should read our review of DogProblems.com. Adam will do whatever it takes to help you whip your dog into shape. I've used them to help with my Great Dane as well as help friends train their dogs. It's the first place I go to help answer users Questions. Many training issues are too extensive to answer in this forum, which is why I refer a lot of the load to his site. Update: I've been using and recommending DogProblems for three years now. I, as well as my users, value the techniques we've learned. I get weekly emails from users who have become better owners from the information they received. |
