About the Cava-Corgi
The Cava-Corgi is a hybrid dog that is made up of a combination of two different purebreeds. It's a cross between the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. We've found the best method for understanding the characteristics of the Cava-Corgi is to read both of its ancestors descriptions taking note of their temperaments, size and general look.
*All hybrid content is user generated and edited by our staff. If you know a lot about the Cava-Corgi breed, please feel free to share what you know with our users. Please try to be as factual and well written as possible. Quality information will promote the growth of the breed.
Their bodies are long and their legs short, much like the Corgi. Their ears and tails are more like the Cavalier. They are tri-colored, black, white, and tan.
This breed tends to follow its Corgi heritage and is known to herd.

This breed has a thick coat and sheds most of the year.
They need room to run and play. Exercise is important to keep them in good shape. They are quick and agile, have strong jaws and love chewing. They do well with active owners.
If you're having problems training your dog or getting control, you should read our review of DogProblems.com. Adam will do whatever it takes to help you whip your dog into shape. I've used them to help with my Great Dane as well as help friends train their dogs. It's the first place I go to help answer users Questions. Many training issues are too extensive to answer in this forum, which is why I refer a lot of the load to his site.
Update: I've been using and recommending DogProblems for three years now. I, as well as my users, value the techniques we've learned. I get weekly emails from users who have become better owners from the information they received.
