About the Cheeks
The Cheeks is a hybrid dog that is made up of a combination of two different purebreeds. It's a cross between the Chihuahua and the Pekingese. We've found the best method for understanding the characteristics of the Cheeks is to read both of its ancestors descriptions taking note of their temperaments, size and general look.

General Description
Cheeks may have very short hair, while some have a long, flowing coat. Coat colors will vary. Their most predictable feature will be the face of a Pekinese. Most tend to have bulging eyes and some may have an under bite.

Ideal Environment
The Pekingese is well-suited to life in a small household or apartment. They are a comparatively inactive breed indoors, and they are content to live without a yard. The breed doesn't require much exercise, but they will stay in better health if they are given regular opportunities to run around and play.
Dog Training! If you're having problems training your dog or getting control, you should read our review of DogProblems.com. Adam will do whatever it takes to help you whip your dog into shape. I've used them to help with my Great Dane as well as help friends train their dogs. It's the first place I go to help answer users Questions. Many training issues are too extensive to answer in this forum, which is why I refer a lot of the load to his site. Update: I've been using and recommending DogProblems for three years now. I, as well as my users, value the techniques we've learned. I get weekly emails from users who have become better owners from the information they received. |
