About the Lha-Cocker

The Lha-Cocker is a hybrid dog that is made up of a combination of two different purebreeds. It's a cross between the Cocker Spaniel and the Lhasa Apso. We've found the best method for understanding the characteristics of the Lha-Cocker is to read both of its ancestors descriptions taking note of their temperaments, size and general look.

*All hybrid content is user generated and edited by our staff. If you know a lot about the Lha-Cocker breed, please feel free to share what you know with our users. Please try to be as factual and well written as possible. Quality information will promote the growth of the breed.

If you desire a long coat, Lha-Cockers require daily brushing. Due to the fineness of Lhasa hair and the curly texture of Spaniel hair, Lha-Cocker hair is highly prone to matts.

Dog Training!

If you're having problems training your dog or getting control, you should read our review of DogProblems.com.  Adam will do whatever it takes to help you whip your dog into shape. I've used them to help with my Great Dane as well as help friends train their dogs. It's the first place I go to help answer users Questions. Many training issues are too extensive to answer in this forum, which is why I refer a lot of the load to his site.

Update: I've been using and recommending DogProblems for three years now. I, as well as my users, value the techniques we've learned. I get weekly emails from users who have become better owners from the information they received.
