About the Mal-Shi
The Mal-Shi is a hybrid dog that is made up of a combination of two different purebreeds. It's a cross between the Maltese and the Shih Tzu. We've found the best method for understanding the characteristics of the Mal-Shi is to read both of its ancestors descriptions taking note of their temperaments, size and general look.

The Mal Shi is a small compact dog that is multi colored with black, brown and white.

This breed mats easily. Daily brushing is recommended. Most owners choose to use a slicker brush.
Ideal Environment
The Malshi enjoys space to run and play. If a yard is not available, leash walks may be required.
