About the Maltichon
The Maltichon is a hybrid dog that is made up of a combination of two different purebreeds. It's a cross between the Bichon Frise and the Maltese. We've found the best method for understanding the characteristics of the Maltichon is to read both of its ancestors descriptions taking note of their temperaments, size and general look.

General Description
THe maltichon is a wonderful mix of both worlds. It posesses the kind and playful temperment of the maltese with the wonderfully wavy and non shedding hair of the bichon. It is smaller in size than an average bichon frise, weighing in at 8 to 10 pounds.
Character
The Maltichon is very well behaved. Both parent breeds are very intelligent and the Maltichon is a fast learner that is easily trainable.

Their fur needs bi-weekly grooming and it needs to be trimmed every 6 weeks.
