(Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Labrador Retriever mix) The Chesador is a large canine. He will most likely sport a short to medium dense coat. He is an avid swimmer. This boy loves his family and is friendly.
This breed is very intelligent and will most likely be strong willed and sometimes stubborn. They respond well to training and can be persuaded to follow commands. They love their families and are great companions for children even though they are very powerful.
The first Chesapeake Bay Retriever appeared off the coast of Maryland in the early 1800s. These dogs have proven themselves as great water fowl retrievers. The Labrador originated in Canada. Their retrieval skills can be found on land as well as water. They have been the most popular breed of canine.

Chopper kept showing up on the back porch before my mother passed. He belongs to our neighbors, but stays with us most of the time. Chopper has become very spoiled by my mother's caregiver and the family. He sleeps at the foot of my bed. As you can see he is very content staying here.
