| Description: | I apopted Bear at longshore animal league in port washington long island in june of 1991 and he lived to be 13.5 years old. unfortunately I was told he was a chow akita mix and would need to be trained with a stern approach. This now makes sense why his misidentification was a injustice to him. He was a gentle dog and highly intelligent with a great capacity to understand commands. he literally did every trick in the book. My son grew up with him until he was six and we both miss him an awful lot. I have now been without a dog since his passing because I could never replace him with another dog until I rrealized that he was a special dog because of his breed. So I now live in the mountains of North Carolina and have the perfect setting for a dog like Bear but don't have the money to pay a breeder. So if anyone knows of where I can adopt an eurasier similiar to Bear then I sure would appreciate an e-mail at I never had such a great animal such as bear but I think that one day I'll feel that bond like the one I used to have! |
