Spanadors come in a variety of colors including black with white. Most have a white blaze on the chest with some white on the tail. They have a wrinkled nose, curly hair on their back and long curly ears. Some have webbed feet. Most are tall with smooth hair on their sides, belly, legs and tail.

This breed is affectionate and loving. They are great with children of all ages as long as they are properly socialized from birth. They are intelligent and easy to house break. Some may get excited and jump on people. This can be corrected with training.

The Spandor needs to be properly socialized with children and other animals from birth. This breed is often playful and enoys games.

Maintenance


Spanadors require weekly brushing in order to keep their coat in top shape. They have soft fur that can mat if it gets wet. The long fur on the hind legs and tail can also mat. They will shine with one good brushing a week.
