(Airedale Terrier and Standard Poodle mix) The Airedoodle is a great loyal family dog. They have a high energy drive, so will require lot\'s of activity. Early formal training is recommended. They don\'t tend to do a lot of barking, but they love companionship, so shouldn\'t be left to their own entertainment for long periods of time.
The Airedoodle is an active breed and requires sufficient daily exercise. It often strives to please its owner and will never be far. Most have a gentle disposition and rarely show aggression if any. Despite its appearance the Airedoodle is strong and will require training. Socializing this breed from birth with children and other animals is recommended.
The Airedoodle was bred in the United States. The parent mix, Airedale Terrier was used for hunting in Yorkshire England in the 19th century. The Standard Poodle was a water fowl retriever.
This dog will not shed, but will require regular grooming. Due to the thickness of the coat, brushing should be part of the regular routine. Also a professional grooming occasionally may be in order. The ears should be kept clean from debris and wax.

Now Freddie is nearly 3 , he has grown out of some of his naughtiness and grown into a beautiful affectionate, good (most of the time ) boy !!! He still loves to play chase round the garden as his favourite game. He has not an ounce of aggression and wants to be friends with everyone he meets.

Maddie is the perfect dog, great temperment, very, very smart. She is rocket fast with super high energy. Loves to hike in the woods. A bit stubborn, but listens very well. She is a great watchdog, but does not have a mean streak in her. Submissive to other dogs and loves to play. She loves everyone and she makes strangers smile!
