The appearance of the Borador varies from the long coat of the Collie to the short hair of the Labrador. The coat is usually black with white patches ranging anywhere from the ring around the neck to the paws. Some have diamond patches on the chest. The body often resembles the Collie but with the coloring of the Labrador resulting in a retriever looking breed.
The Borador has a well balanced temperament and cares for family. It is intelligent and quick to learn new commands. They are ready to please and enjoy following orders. This breed is very active and enjoys people and other dogs. They take to new comers quickly.
If you're having problems training your dog or getting control, you should read our review of DogProblems.com. Adam will do whatever it takes to help you whip your dog into shape. I've used them to help with my Great Dane as well as help friends train their dogs. It's the first place I go to help answer users Questions. Many training issues are too extensive to answer in this forum, which is why I refer a lot of the load to his site.
Update: I've been using and recommending DogProblems for three years now. I, as well as my users, value the techniques we've learned. I get weekly emails from users who have become better owners from the information they received.
A beautiful puppy girl who is rather naughty but lovable. She enjoys slapstick(on me, of course.), and often tries it out. I love her and her sister very much!

DoodleBug
Color:
black and white
Description:
Rescued: Doodle thinks she is human. But, please do not tell her otherwise. She is so gentle and really loves kids. She is very affectionate. And seems to understand everything You say to her. She is an excellent companion and has never shown any type of aggression. Her history , before I got her , was very. Vague. She came from a rescue. They told me she was seized and placed into an overcrowded high kill shelter. She was due to be uthenized on a monday. Two days before I called about her. I was actually looking to addopt a welsh corgi. But, something unexplainable Happened. A site automatically popped up that said urgent Help needed. Curiosity. Got the best of me and I clicked on the page. Pictures of dogs that needed a forever home, Came up. It didnt take me long to find the picture of doodlebug. It was instant love. I. Made the phone call. I told them I didnt care what it took. Get that dog out of there and to a vet. Get her shots and a check up. I WANTED HER ! I was willing to drive through four states to get her. But, they told me that was not neccesary. They would be willing to deliver her to me. And that they did! In the early morning hours, of the worst snow storm of the year, their was a knock on the door. It was a woman with a beautiful dog on the end of a leash. We didn't. Know what type of behavior to expect. So into a kennel cage she went. The cries where so pitiful , it broke my heart. I brought her into the bedroom with a blanket and a bowl of water. She slept for the rest of the night. And the rest was history. That was three years ago. She turned out to be one of the best dogs that I ever had.

Name:
Nemo
Color:
Mainly black, tan legs, white paws, white diamond on chest
Description:
Nemo is an amazing four month old borador. He is incrediy smart and has a llot of energy. He is extremely playful and is the friendliest dog I have ever met. He is already roughly 25 pounds and definitely, at this age, looks more like a lab. We have noticed that his hair is starting to get longer and his snout as well is getting longer, causing him to transform into a collie look. We are very excited to watch him grow to see what side he actually takes from!
Age :
5 months
Name:
Coco
Color:
Black and White
Description:
Our Coco at approx 5 months and around 41lbs. She is very smart and watches everything I do. She is easily excitable and quite loving. Does great at the dog park and with our 7 and 9 ye old boys. She is quite "mouthy" and likes to chew on shoes, ankles and hands. This we are ending quickly. She learns quickly and needs a lot of exercise. Overall a great rescue for this family.
Age :

Name:
Raven
Color:
Black & White
Description:
Very sweet and smart. Loves to run, when the border collie in her kicks in. But at home, the lab part takes over and she's a total couch potato. These dogs like to chew, so it's important to provide plenty of toys -- Raven learned quickly that toys are the only things she can chew.

This is Jet, my five month old Borador puppy. She is very energetic and very loyal. She follows me all around the house and doesn't like to be where she can't see me. She loves any kind of attention at all, even me just stroking her belly with my feet. She is a chewer, but she quickly learned that she is only allowed to chew on her toys. She responds well to her training and is very sweet.
