Boxador Q&A

I have been breeding labs for 12 yrs., my daughter has a boxer. I would like to know what color lab should I breed to her boxer, which is brindle/white, and keep the dark color and the white paws and face?? I'm guessing, use the choc. or black labs, because the yellow would probably lighten the pups don't you think?? If you can help me out here I'd appreciate it.

My boxador has a yellow lab mother, and a Brindle boxer father. All 9 puppies came out black with a few patches of white on chest and paws.

I had a brindle boxer with white markings breed with a yellow lab. She had 8 pups of which 1 was yellow with white markings, 3 black with white markings, and the rest were solid black. All our very cute but I have to say the yellow one is actually my fave!

my boxador had a yellow lab mum and a brindle boxer dad,she is also black with a few white markings

My boxador had a red boxer mum and a black lab father

We got our Boxador from a friend who bred a brindle boxer with a black lab....our dog is beautiful, she is pitch black with a white chest and white paws....it was a gorgeous mix! :)

I have a brindle boxador. Although I'm unsure of her parantage, all of her litter was either brindle or yellow. She is quite beautiful. Her brindle coat is quite blonde, especially in the sun. She also has a large blonde spot on one side. I know her mother was the boxer and her father the lab. Because of her light, brindle coat, I think her mother was a brindle boxer and her father a yellow lab.

My beautiful boxador male had a black lab sire and brindle boxer mom..he is black at first sight but upon a closer look u see a brindle pattern in his coat. I constantly get comments on what a beautiful boy he is. Not only does he have a extraordinary appearance, impressive large size and the strenght of a bull , he is truly a great dog all the way around. May I wish u good luck in your breeding of these two great breeds.

I have a brindle boxer lab. His father was a chocolate lab and his mother was a brindle and white boxer. She had 16 puppies, most of them brindle.

it does not matter what colour your dog is you could breed two yellow labs and get all chocolate or all black it don't matter it is just your chances.

drou My Brindle Boxer Mom bred with a Black Lab who jumped our fence, this was unplanned..She gave birth sunday to the most beautiful pups...2 jet black on sight, but at closer inspection they have brindle markings and 1 tan with dark brown markings and a large white blaze on her chest like her mamma..All 3 babies have a boxer face and all 3 weighed well over 1lb at birth. I can not wait to see what awesome dogs they grow to be!!!

My yellow lab and "fancy" boxer just had pups almost 6 weeks ago. Out of 7 pups 3 are brown with black/white face and black ears and 4 are reverse brindle with white paws.

I have a yellow lab and tan boxer and all 6 puppies were black with a little white. Black is the dominant color for labs
