Character

The Brottweiler is a sensitive dog that usually bonds closely with one person in the household. This is not a dog that does well being left alone. Trained properly he is a wonderful dog to have around. Be sure he gets mental stimulation and special items to chew.

Maintenance

The Brottweiler will require regular brushing since his coat will shed. This designer dog will not require frequent bathing. Simply wiping him down with a damp cloth will keep the coat from being stripped of natural oils. A dry shampoo may be a good choice.

Ideal Environment

The Brottweiler will need a yard to be sure he gets his daily exercise. Since this hybrid tends to bond with one person, caution should be exercised if the household has children or other pets. The parent Rottweiler tends to be very good with children, but the Brussels Griffon does not. A strong master leader and lots of early and continued socialization may be necessary.

Dog Training!

If you're having problems training your dog or getting control, you should read our review of DogProblems.com. Adam will do whatever it takes to help you whip your dog into shape. I've used them to help with my Great Dane as well as help friends train their dogs. It's the first place I go to help answer users Questions. Many training issues are too extensive to answer in this forum, which is why I refer a lot of the load to his site. Update: I've been using and recommending DogProblems for three years now. I, as well as my users, value the techniques we've learned. I get weekly emails from users who have become better owners from the information they received.
