They have a small face with soft hair that is straight and slightly fluffy like that of the Cavalier. The body often resembles that of the Pomeranian with the floppy ears of the Cavalier. Most have a curled tail.
Cavapoms are energetic, curious and love to play. They are even tempered, sweet and rarely growl. They are very agile and love to run. They enjoy active games like fetch. They love the outdoors but are also happy to spend days inside. Some have the face of a Pomeranian with the floppy ears of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Their coats can range from fluffy to long and silky. This breed is smart and will love a crate once properly trained.

This is my brand new female CKCS Pomeranian cross, the photo was taken at 8 weeks old. She looks very Cavalier, and the only trace of Pomeranian in her so far is a bit of the fuzzy fur on her rib cage area. The rest of her fur is smoother like the Cavaliers. They say she will only get to be about 10 pounds, she is under 5 now. I am hoping she is small enough to travel in the passenger area of an airplane with me.
