I know from personal experience with my ChiPin and further research made online, NO raisins or grapes for sure! a small hand full of grapes can make her appear drunk or low blood sugar and could actualy destoy her liver and kill her. NO GRAPES/Raisins:) I would definately stay away from Chocolate and Garlic as well. Remember that most of the table scrapps of meat are often seasoned w garlic. (I just give my baby center cuts) Boil up some chicken, no seasoning, and tear into small pieces. You can place a Baggie in the fridge for about a week and your ChipPin can have some human food too. Great for training too. As others stated: no grapes, raisins, chocolate, garlic, onions etc. but I add "no human table food of any kind!" If you truly love your dog, don't take chances with food that is not for them. Feeding a pet from the table is training them to 'expect' to be fed from the table. Dogs that have not been subjected to table eating don't beg, jump up when you are eating or even hang around. If you want to feed your dog when you are eating, fill a Ziploc bag with a little kibble and give a few to the dog while eating. My 13 year old Chipin also loves to eat and gained a lot of weight. My vet told me to substitute green beans and carrots for the unhealthy treats. She also suggested boiling a whole chicken, de-boning it then mixing it with rice. It stores in the fridge for a week.
