General Health

Cluminger Spaniels are very healthy, many professionals and breeders believe that by combining the two separate purebred spaniel parents you truly do get the best of both worlds, with healthier genetics than its purebred parents.

Cluminger Spaniels shed less than the purebred clumber but still maintain the cashmere coat they are adorned for, they do not drool and are normally calmer than the springer parent. They need minimal grooming, typically a good brushing once a month and trimming around the feet. You can also have them completely shaved down into a "field clip" to avoid any shedding at all.

Ideal Environment

Cluminger Spaniels do well in most environments, they love children and do well with other animals. They would prefer land or a big yard to play in, but they do well with city life as long as you can walk them often.

Dog Training!

If you're having problems training your dog or getting control, you should read our review of Adam will do whatever it takes to help you whip your dog into shape. I've used them to help with my Great Dane as well as help friends train their dogs. It's the first place I go to help answer users Questions. Many training issues are too extensive to answer in this forum, which is why I refer a lot of the load to his site. Update: I've been using and recommending DogProblems for three years now. I, as well as my users, value the techniques we've learned. I get weekly emails from users who have become better owners from the information they received.
