Where most canines tend to be less active in the evening, not so with the Cocker-Ton, this is sometimes when he tends to be more active. He will love swimming and trips to the park.
add infoThe Coton de Tulear originated in Madagascar. It is believed they were used for ratting. The Cocker Spaniel was used to hunt and flush out Woodcock.
add infoBrush regularly with a pin brush to remove tangles. Bathe often. Be sure to dry the ears thoroughly. He may do well with an occasional trip to the groomer to keep his coat in optimum shape.
add infoThe Cocker-Ton does not do well in high temps, so be aware of this when exercising him so that he doesn\'t over exert. You may consider obedience and/or agility training to keep him mentally as well as physically stimulated. A fenced yard will help him burn off some of his energy.
