Most are white with a pink or black and pink nose. The tail is long and may curl over the hind quarters. The coat is long and straight with feathering on the legs and hind quarters. This breed is a heavy shedder and will need brushing several times a week.

It is also considered to be energetic and may be over hyper if not properly exercised. Strangers are not always welcomed but they will warm up to them in time. Often protective of family and training is a must. Some will be barky when greeting others, especially around those they adore. Socialization from birth is recommended.
