Dorkie Q&A

I have a 9wk old dorkie who is absolutely precious..."chubs". He is very finicky and i was wondering what i should feed him. He doesn't like eukanuba dry puppy food. Could you suggest what i might try? He has started itching very badly and chewing on his paws. He has been around another puppy whose owner says doesn't have fleas. He is very dark and i can't see any fleas. He has also been out in the grass. What might you suggest?

Mine was the same way!! He finally started eating the xsmall pro plan dog food with little problems.

I would try Blue Buffalo, or any of the natural (no by products) dog foods on the market. My Dorkie loves it, and he no longer itches :)

I have a yorkie and a dachshund and have fed them Science Diet since I got them and it has worked well.

feed him something with a meat product as the first ingredient

I have a dorkie who is a very picky eater as well, I have to mixe about a tablespoon of wet food w/ her dry food b4 she will eat it. Also for the itchy skin, both her and my small terrier have the skin issues, I use a medical shampoo w/ anti bacterial in it and a petsmart brand oatmeal conditioner, it works wonders :)
