Actually it is best to mix the dry food with the wet food because it tastes better for the dog and it is easier to eat, and actually, it keeps them from eating their own poo and eating at table scraps.

I give mine organic dry food, and once in a while chicken or cooked meat. She is very healthy!

I give ours all the Beneful dry food she can eat, plus chicken mixed with rice and carrots, or chicken mixed with a little scrambled egg, once a day. She is healthy and happy. Early on we tried giving her various wet foods, but it invariably caused diarrhea. (Once in a while, she also enjoys a little treat of fresh blueberries, too.)

Mine is HARD to feed. The only thing there is any kind of problem with - as he is otherwise 100% perfect. He does not like any dry food or kibbles and since he got rice chicken and veggies he won't even go for softer flatter Kiwi special squares he used to quite like from New Zealand. He won't eat any kind of normal dog foods, or casserole tinned 'meal; type in a can, or ANY dog treats. He loves cooked hamburger meet / low fat drained and mixed with baked potato to\ho. He will eat the freeze dried beef or chicken patties by STELLA AND CHEWIE and likes Friskies cat food! (I also have cats) More suggestions to feed him welcome. He is 2 year old rescue. I like the scrambled egg idea. But WOW, no dog food will he eat?? It was cheaper to feed my live-in boyfriend.

Ours likes Rachael Ray Nutrish Veggies and Chicken! And then I pour warm water over it to cover food about 1/2 cup for 1 cup of food!

I give mine dry and wet food combined, as to keep dry food in her diet, since its good for them to chew on for whiter teeth and fresher breath, then giving them wet food all the time.. She really likes chicken moist dog food, over other flavors, but even more so, turkey meat snaps with her dry food..
