My morkie was also covered in bumps and I first realized this when he started to constantly lick his paws. It first appeared there, but then spread to the rest of his body. I changed his shampoo to tropiclean (soap free) oatmeal. I also changed his food to holistic fish, because I was told he might have been allergic to chicken and/or grains. He wasn't crazy about the flavor but ate it just fine. When the bag finished I changed it to lamb, and he loves that! The best part is, the allergies seems to have disappeared. I hope that helps you!! My morkie was also covered in bumps and I first realized this when he started to constantly lick his paws. It first appeared there, but then spread to the rest of his body. The lady I bought my Morkie from said to use Fish Oil on the dog food and that Morkie's do better with chicken or lamb over other things in dog food, so I am using Diamond Brand small breed puppy Chicken and rice. My dog loves it and is doing great on it. Our Vet put them on a diet of duck and potato with no grains or corn and they are doing great. A lot of breeds are allergic to the grains in food. |
