
The Pekarin is a designer cross breed between the Pekingese and Cairn Terrier. These are both small dogs and weigh around 12 pounds and reach a height of around 10 inches. The Pekarin has a short to medium fur coat like that of the Cairn Terrier. The Pekarin is an intelligent dog which also has a stubborn side to it. It is this stubborn side which makes their training very difficult, but once properly trained, they become great family pets. They require a lot of love and attention from the family and always remain loyal. Their average life expectancy is 12-15 years.
