This size of this breed will very between the Yorkshire Terrier and the Rat Terrier. They can be from 7 inches at the withers all the way to 23 inches. This breed needs plenty of exercise and loves to be the center of attention. They are active, smart and generally strive to please their owners. Typical color will be black with white, brown or gold markings. Their hair may be wiry and short.

Sweet babies with momma they are 1/2 Yorkshire half ratshire I posted two pics of the girls that will be coming home with me one is named the other I haven't chosen as of yet I will be adding pics through out their lives that way others who are curious will get some idea since not much info is on the internet if you have a question comment and I will do my best to answer it. Poppy aka "Miss America" is a Ratshire Terrier (1/2 Rat Terrier 1/2 Yorkie). She lives to play, life is just one big playground! Figure Eights around the yard at lightning speeds, burying her "valubles", digging up treasure's, yeap...a big playground!
Poppy is always playing....many times those around her may not even realize it....even if they do realize....possibly already worn down, oh but not Poppy! She requires not only lots of physical exercise to prevent boredom, but also requires even more mental stimulation, truly one of the most intelligent dogs that I have ever known (which is many)....If IQ test exist for dogs....there is no doubt that "My Little Bitty Pretty Poppy's" is above the average!
