The Shi-Pom is energetic, affectionate, lively, and playful. This dog loves cuddling and wants to spend time with human companions. The hybrid is protective for the family and can be overprotective sometimes. So it is important to supervise when there are kids in the family. Shi-Pom barks at strangers or anyone who approaches this dog. The energy level is moderate and gets independence and intelligence from bio mix. This makes an excellent family dog but sometimes difficult to train. It is suggested to keep the training session fun and short to reduce boredom and to prevent your canine from aggressive and destructive behavior.

The parents of this mixed breed are Pomeranian and the Shiba Inu. The Pomeranian comes from the Pomerania presently known as Poland and Germany. Earlier, this was the large dog that was used for herding purposes. Until 1870 this breed was not well known than later when Queen Victoria visited France she discovered this breed. She loved this dog and brought home where different breeding methods were adopted to reduce the size of Pomerania. The Shiba Inu is among the six breeds that are native to Japan. This dog was used for hunting purpose.

Dog Training!

If you're having problems training your dog or getting control, you should read our review of Adam will do whatever it takes to help you whip your dog into shape. I've used them to help with my Great Dane as well as help friends train their dogs. It's the first place I go to help answer users Questions. Many training issues are too extensive to answer in this forum, which is why I refer a lot of the load to his site. Update: I've been using and recommending DogProblems for three years now. I, as well as my users, value the techniques we've learned. I get weekly emails from users who have become better owners from the information they received.
