I don't mean to assume, but typically a dog (any breed) with a chewing problem also has another problem...lack of exercise. Boxers need, at minimum, a daily walk of at least 30 minutes. They are highly energetic and loving dogs, but when they have all of that energy and nothing to release them from it, they can become destructive. Also, ask your vet about the possibility of a gum disease. Occasionally, dogs will get something similar to gingivitis and will chew for relief. Almost like a baby teething. I hope everything goes well for you and your companion. Good luck!
