Hello, I am very intereseted in purchasing a dog fo rthe first time. I rally dont knwo where to start as far as breed/types, however i do kind of know what i am looking for. My wife is 2 months pregnant; i have a 10 year old daughter already so im looking for a family friendly dog who would be safe to have around babies. Also looking for a medium size dog (no larger than a small boxer); easily house trainable; good companion for family; also that can be a god guard for family in home. I was told to consider a "Boxer" i was looking at a cute dog like a "cocker spaniel" or "black russian terrier Lamont Josey

My boxer was really great with little kids as long as he new them but certain people he did not know he snapped at if you get a boxer DO NOT let anyone pull at his ears.

My boxer never bark unless he hears voices he does not recognize or if he hears a car close to my house.

i got a my boxer after i had my 1st miscarriage and when there is someone prgnant around be very careful cause they will pounce you in the stomach the 2nd time i was pregnant my husband had to hold her until she calmed down. they are NOT in no way easy to potty train mine is 6 months and refuses to potty train. its getting ridicolous. but they are very good with kids and love attention and need tons of excerise. Also they are very hyper, and great cuddle buddies. the snore really bad and you have to keep their eyes wiped out. they are hard to get on to cause they give you this look and it makes you laugh. overall they are a good breed but they are crazy and VERYYY hyper
