They are almost straight-backed, and their belly is somewhat retracted. Alano Espanols have a large, thick neck that features two double chins. They have a head reminiscent of a bulldog, with a square facade and a serious expression. Alano Espanols have a wide muzzle with a vertical stop and a large, black nose with open nostrils. Their ears are usually docked and are curved at the tip, but their long, tapered tail is always left as-is. If so, where can they be located? i've heard that there is a breeder in new hampshire but that he is not commercial. apparently he has very good contact with the spanish breeders since he spends a lot of time there. kennel name is Potstillgold. good luck
	Do Alanos fare well in apartments? I have a 2 yr old (rescue dog) Alano/Aktia mix an he is the most all around fabulous dog I've owned...he stays in a 1200 sq ft condo and gets along fine with good walks. He has a 15 yr old Schipperkee sis that bosses him around.
	Hello, I'm a keen Boar hunter from the Northern Territory Australia (made famous by Crocodile Dundee) who is after a strong working dog that I can take hunting. I mainly hunt with Bow and Arrow but also am inclined to use rifles when necessary. We have a Bull Arab which is quite an effective Boar dog. However, I wish to specialize in archery and require a dog with a good nose and the ability to handle very large pigs. Furthermore, my research has led me to the Alano Espanol breed and I would like to know how I may purchase a puppy? I have a large yard and an even bigger hunting area because the Northern Territory is larger than Western Europe with a population of only 300 000 people.
