Hi, I have a 1 year old yorkie female. my family and I are so concerned over her because shes's been itchy for more than a month. She scratches herself alot. We took her to the groomer and they told us that her skin is very irritated and that shes losing her fur. I have no idea what to do anymore.

One of our Yorkies suddenly developed dry, itchy skin like your describing. It was just out of the blue for no reason. We tried various shampoos for itching, took him to the vet, etc. Then we changed our clothes washing detergent to the kind for sensitive skin and the itching vanished for him. It fixed the problem.
