Yes, its normal. There are special shampoos for that skin condition for dogs, try that. Add fish oil to it's diet. You can get the capsules for people in the vitamin section of the pharmacy and poke a hole in them w/a pin and squirt it on thier food. They love it! Also, don't bathe them unless you NEED to, as you are removing much of the natural oil in thier coat. Hope that helps! Might try a dog shampoo with oatmeal in it, also a teaspoon of mineral oil gives a shiny coat. |
