This age is not too young. Only 6 to12 wks puppies are usually the age that they for sale.

Seven weeks is too young. Puppies need to stay with their litter mates and mother until 8 weeks of age. This is important for learning bite inhibition, among other things. Never buy a pup from someone selling under 8 weeks of age as they don\'t understand dog development. All the best.
