When are female Shorkies supposed to get their menstrual periods? |

My Vet told me that after 4months they should start getting there "special friend" unless you have your Shorkie Pooh spade. uuph my vet explained to me that our shorkie should start her period at around one year old. she also said if you have her fixed before she even stars her period they tend to live longer than waiting till they start we had her fixed before she started . she was almost 12 months old |
