I have a 5 month old BT and in the last 3 weeks, part of his chest, neck and inside of his legs turned pink. I brought him to the vet, was given some medication. It's been a few days, but it does not seem the medication is working. Can some one offer some remedy suggestions. BTW the vet said he's allergic to the carpet. I only have a rug in my house and the rest of the house has wood floorings.

I have a 4 year old boston and he has the same skin irritation so here is my secret, olive oil mixed in with his food and within a week it is better, I only find that he gets it in the winter months when the heating is on so gets dry skin so I just use the olive oil then and in summer he seams fine, give it a try
