German Shorthaired Pointer Q&A

I have an 11 week old Blue Great Dane named, Maximus and is just over 25lbs. He has these scabby white bumps and almost feel knot like under the skin. I took him to the vet and found out he has round worms so he was treated for that and she gave him Amoxi-tabs 200mg twice a day thinking it may be a skin infection or just irritation from litter mates biting and what not. It's been about a week now and the bumps/scabs haven't got any better, almost worse! I'm not sure what it could be, none of out 3 labs are getting it and they play all the time. I am still trying to figure out what's the best diet for this big fella, so any food suggestions on that what the scabs might be that would be great!

It sounds like an allergy, quite possibly to the food you feed him. We feed our dogs 65:35 rice to high quality dog food, plus a coat supplement, like bran oil, from Tractors Supply. In the meantime, we treat our dogs skin irritations with diluted Betadyne solution. Best of luck with your little man.
