On average how much bigger are male giant maso mastiffs compared to an old english mastif? I am looking for the largest affectionate dog i can find that is still good with children.

English mastiffs are still the 'largest' dogs. Mixing them with smaller breeds like the cane corso's will produce more athletic, but not larger dogs. If size is what that matters to you, stick with the english or neo mastiffs.
