My four year old dachshund had a nasty green discharge coming from her left eye. We took her to the vet. They gave us medicated eye drops. To use for a week and we would come back in for a check up. The check up was on Monday and they told me she isn't making enough tears and needs to be on an ointment for the rest of her life. This is the first time she has had any problems is there anything else we can do for her?
