They are inside dogs only. They are about Chihuahua's size. And when temperature goes a bit low they get cold. I have an RTT and we've had him for 5 years. We live in the NorthEastern part of the US and it gets quite cold here. PJ hates the cold!!! I have to shovel paths for him when it snows so that he can goto the bathroom outside!!! I have talked with others that have RTT's and their dogs love the cold...I guess it just depends. THESE ARE INSIDE DOGS ONLY. They may go outside to go on walks or to go the bathroom, but they live indoors with the family. They should only be outside when accompanied by a responsible person as they can easily be stolen or picked up by a bird or other wild animal for food. THESE ARE INSIDE DOGS ONLY. Small-medium size dogs should only be outside when accompanied by a responsible person as they can easily be stolen or picked up by a bird or other wild animal for food or, worse yet, by horrific individuals to use as bait in training fighting dogs. Most dogs love to be inside with the family and be treated as companion animals. No small dog should be left outside alone. THESE ARE INSIDE DOGS ONLY.
