We just got an 8 week old Morkie (girl) pup, what is the best we to teach her to sleep thru the night? She has a crate which she will go in an lay down during the day. I've tried putting her in the crate & locking it but that didn't help, so I keep it open or have a blanket next to the crate so she can lay down on. It seem like she will sleep every two hours and then want to play or have someone next to her.

sleep with her in bed for a couple days and she will be fine on her own once she gets used to you.

We had this problem the first few nights. Then we put him into our bed for a few nights and made sure we play with him for 30min before bed he sleeps for 7 or so hours at night now.
