Hi! I keep on buying my soon to be 5 yr old chihuahua/mix toys and she doesn't play with them :( we have boughten the soft stuff animal toys and nothing, bought her a small ball nothing, bought her even a ball with fur on it nothing, frisbee nothing, I am getting so upset at what to get her! she has played previously before with our cats toy rat but I don't like her playing with that because of the fur. Any suggestions of what kind of toys to get a chihuahua to play with would be so great. thanks, Jennifer

try small stuffed animal with a squeak. Chihuahuas are very alert of noises, and you squeak the toy and play with it for a while maybe she'll get interested. Mine loves toys, the only problem is he can's stop till he has 'reversed' them... I keep on buying them to replace because he will try to eat the stuffing... :-)

I would get her a rat just like the cats and trim the fur... if she just dont wanna play maybe she just dont wanna play. She is getting to be about middle aged some dogs grow out of it.
