I have two adorable pug puppies, now 16 weeks old. The black one is typical pug shaped, with a well-rounded barrel shaped chest. The fawn one seems to have a slightly shortened rib cage that is straight on the bottom instead of curved up toward the dog's body. He is healthy and happy but mom worries that the end of his rib cage seems to jut out of his chest into a hard knot. The vet doesn't seem worried (particularly since I don't plan to show or breed them) but I was wondering if anyone else with a pug had ever seen this and if so, if it is something I need to have a specialist look at.

it is nothing at all.I have a pug, whose name is Sunni,and she also has this kind of body shape.AT first, I was worried too, but then i read that this is just because of NOTHING! :P Hope this helps :) -Sreemoyee
