My shih tzu just gave birth to six. The one died soon after birth though. Typically the have 4-5 pups. one of my shih tzu to threethen to 4 the she had fiveso i would say around 3-5 2-3 3-6 It depends on the size of the female. Larger females will tend to have more pups, in the 6-8 range, where the smaller ones can have 1-5 pups. 3-6 :) My \snuggles gave birth to 7 puppies and they all lived.She was 12lbs. at the start. All doing well :) |
