Hello, We adopted a puppy from the pound a few years ago, and we've always been curious about what breed(s) she may be. We knew she looked like the swiss mt dog, but not that large. Then the other day, my daughter stumbled across an article in a magazine about the Entlebucher, a breed we never heard of before. Our dog fits all the characteristics of the breed, except she is missing the blaze on her face, but she has the white tipped toes and tail, the inverted cross on her chest, she loves to herd and has the proper tan markings, she is beautiful and sweet. They listed her as a Rottweiler mix at the pound, but as she became full grown, I was pretty sure she didn't have an oz of Rottie in her. The question that I have for you, is our dog, Gypsy, has several spots on her skin in the chest area, they are about the size of a dime/nickel, they do not show through the fur, but you can see them on the skin when you pull the fur back. Is this type of marking found on the entlbucher breed? Thanks so much for your time, Karen
