how much homemade food to feed my pomeranian who is 4years old and weighs 16pounds. thank you |

that pomeranian is pretty heavy, maybe you can feed it a can of mighty dog and put in a little kibbles, that will do :) (at least that much of homemade food) what's in your homemade dog food. I put fruit, veggies about 30% to 70% protein...mostly full chickens. (watch for sales and stock up) Sometimes just him a chicken leg. Yes, they can crack and chew thru the bones, they are brittle and we've never had a problem in the pack. (5 dogs/4 are small) Don't use rice, corn, onions, potatoes, flour...no starches, they don't need it. It's just filler, (fattener). |
