Is it true that Bostons are bred with a short tail which looks like it is docked but actually isnt? |

That's natural to the breed. They should NEVER be docked! bostons tails are docked only when it is medicaly neccisary some bostons tails will be so corkscrewed that it will start affecting the tail bone and cause an infection then the tail must be docked by a vet |
