We just got our puppy last week, she is 7 weeks old now. She loves being in her playpen and is happy there. We have let her out in the living room and she likes to play there. If we pick her up, sometimes she will lick us, but mostly she growls and bites at us, not in a playful way. We have had her to the vet and she is fine. She is very aggressive and everywhere I read, it says we must take control. What do we do when we pick her up and she behaves this way? We had our Spitz for 16 years and we have never experienced this. We are at our wits end why a small , very loved puppy, can be so aggressive. We need advice and welcome all replys.
