I have a 5 yr old AB and she has developed a bunch of bumps all along her back that have turned into scabs. These seem to come and go and our vet keeps putting her on antibiotics.....which clears up the scabs but as soon as she gets off them they reappear in a few days. I am in desperate need of help opr suggestions on what to do.

I don't know how long ago this question was posted. But what do the bumps look like? Our AB had bumps all over him and it turned out to be hives. It's rare but it does happen. All we did for ours was give him benedryl and the bumps went away.

My Ab had similar bumps. My Vet did an allergy test and he is allergic to beef, turkey, wheat and milk. I changed his food to Iams puppy and He has not had any more problems.
