My American Bulldog is about 8 months old and he has recently started throwing up after he drinks water. He does not do it every time he drinks, but it is pretty frequent and especially if he is running around playing. What causes this and are there any ways to prevent it?

My pit bull does the same thing regarding drinking water and then throwing it back up. I figured out that occurs when I give them too much water; they just drink the whole bowl in one sitting. Subsequently, they end up throwing it up. I have since given them less portions of water but more frequently each day and this has solved the problem. Just don't give your AB too much water at a time and that problem will be solved.
