I have a 10 year old Female Yorkie and my husband wants to get a 10 week old Female Shiba Inu puppy. Recently our 19 year old cat died. The Yorkie has actually been just fine without the cat around anymore. Will the ages and the two breeds work together?

I have a six year old yorkie and an 8 month old Shiba Inu. They both get along well. The yorkie keeps the baby Shiba in line by biting him on the snout. Shiba Inu's are high energy dogs and are very busy and my yorkie gets after him constantly. If your dog is still in top health you wont have any problem.
